Your privacy is safe here

Some of you have asked about privacy before joining, and we want to be completely clear. Joining Many Butterflies does not share your phone number with anyone.

Telegram is one of the most private messaging apps there is, and it works through usernames rather than phone numbers. Other members only ever see the name and photo you choose. They cannot see your number, and neither can we as admins. The only people who could ever see it are those who already have your number saved in their own phone.

If you would like to lock things down even further, you can hide your number completely and be reachable only by a username you pick. It takes about a minute, and there is a simple step-by-step guide in our FAQ.
